just had a chance to add

it's been kind of crazy - with work, with home, with everything. Never seems like I have a spare moment. Never enough hours in a day. Just finished reading a great book - Peony in Love by Lisa See. I totally loved this book. Great story - so sad and so moving. I would recommend this to anyone you loved "Memories of a Geisha"

Also I recently went with my friend Amy and got a new tattoo. He is adorable and I love it. Now I am wondering what to get next. I still want a sparrow - so that might have to be next. We will see. So I thought I would share him with you. His name is Freddy Prince, he is a prince of the forest. What better name could he have had - since he is a flying frog. And doesn't he look like a "Freddy"

ta ta for now

TGIF

Even though it is late and the day is almost over. I was glad that it was Friday. Had a great time tonight at a lace sock KAL. The sock I am doing is very easy and almost done sock #1. Glad the week is over and I have two days off to regroup. Tomorrow I will spend most of the day at Ewenique Yarns and Ron and Bobby are off to NYC with Steve and Neal to see a Yankee game. Bobby is so excited. I hope they have fun. I am going to try to get a couple of projects completed this weekend.

took off of work for a couple of days

Kids are on Easter break from school all week - I decided that I needed a couple of days off also, so I took off for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Today is Thursday and we are all headed to Bobby's baseball game. it is a double header today. It is kind of yucky outside - damp and cool - not a lovely day for sitting at two ball games. I will probably spend some time in the car knitting or reading. My back has been hurting so I am not sure how long I will be able to sit there. Either way I am not at work and I am trying to relax and de-stress myself.

mammo was clear

Posted this as a comment to original post but it doesn't just show up - so I figured the news did deserve its own post.

When will this week end

I have felt all day that it was Friday - how I wish this week would end. For some unknown reason this week has been unbelievably long. I am so glad that Friday is finally upon us. I think I need to take a couple of days off. Employees at work have been taxing to say the least. Usually you get this false sense of security and then all of a sudden it explodes. I try to be a fair and reasonable boss but sometimes no matter what you do it is not good enough. Most people fail to realize that we all work for a company and there are rules. I cannot help but to enforce the rules, that is my job. Most of the people in the office that have an "attitude" are the "guilty" ones. I am weary of these people. Usually when I feel like this it is time to take some time off and regroup, strengthen my reserve. I feel that this will be in my near future for if it isn't I shall go mad. (Like the drama?""""")
I just watched "John Adams" the mini series on HBO - we watched episodes one and two. This Sunday will be episode three. The series is really good so far. It makes you feel so "patriotic" you know the whole "Give me Liberty or give me death" feeling. I so love the history of our country, which most people forget about. If anyone reads this and has HBO you should so watch this series. I think that it might even be good enough that school children should watch this. Our freedom should not be taken for granted. Men and women died for us. Men and women continue to die for this country. No one that has ever died for our freedom or our country should be forgotten.
Happy Easter to all who read. Remember Easter is for the honor of someone who also died for us. Died for us so our sins could be forgiven - the ultimate sacrifice. If only everyone realized the sacrifices made for each of us.

May the Lord continue to watch over each of us and protect us. Keep a watch on me Dad- I miss you but I know I will see you again one day. PS: Mom is doing ok.

Happy St Patty's day

Hope you have your green shirt on - Mine says "Luck of the Irish" with a big ole glass of Guiness.

Was alittle bored here at work today - I hate Mondays and I got the Monday midday tired eyes, so I went internet shopping. I bought a couple new pattern books, a row counter and a cute little "critter case". I so need the row counter for the blanket coat I am working on - it will be easier than a paper and pencil to do the count.

We had a weekend of sitting in the cold watching our high schooler play baseball. The season has begun. I love sitting and knitting but actually yesterday it was so cold I had trouble knitting - my fingerless gloves kept my hands warm but my fingers were too cold to knit - so I switched to my mittens and just watched the game. Game goes slower if you don't knit !!!!

Come on Spring !!!!!!

Have a Happy St Patricks Day - stay away from the green beer because green puke is not so cute!!!!!

today is Mammo day

Just alittle bit worried - I hate getting tests that are looking for something when I am not sick - I am always afraid that they will find something. Make sense?

So today I feel like the picture - just close my eyes and put my head down. Wish me luck!!
